After 17 played minutes Dx team got a freekick which was hit by Christian Medeiros. After 18 played minutes, Guzolandia AD's Ian Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Arósio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guzolandia AD reached it. In the 21st minute, Genílson Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Emílio Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natanael Arósio was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Barros in the 47th minute of play forced Dx team's goalkeeper Natanael Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genílson Baptista to strike the kick off in the second half. Guzolandia AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
