Tupiniquins's Fabrício Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Baptista in the 32nd minute of play. Fabrício Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldão Magalhães went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Tupiniquins's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Genílson Baptista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tupiniquins's Bebeto Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sidnei Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Bebeto Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Arósio having to interfere.

The wind increased when Genílson Baptista made the kick off in the second half. Rafinha Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Dx team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto de Barros to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dx team's zone, Sidnei Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dx team's Natanael Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Dx team from getting a goal against them. After 70 minutes, Christian Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dx team and the Tupiniquins players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dx team's Christian Medeiros got a free kick in the 71st minute. Bebeto Mazza didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 72nd minute. Tupiniquins's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Baptista in the 76th minute of play forced Tupiniquins's goalkeeper Fabrício Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Natanael Arósio managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Tupiniquins's Bebeto Mazza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Christian Medeiros got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Tupiniquins booed when Dx team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidnei Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Natanael Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tupiniquins.
