In the 29thth minute of the game Acácio Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacuarichim SC's Gilvan Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria de Almeida in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Gustavo Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Maria de Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmyr Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria de Almeida in the 34th minute of play forced Higienopolis Futebol Club's goalkeeper Walmyr Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tacuarichim SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
