Bernardo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Henry FC the free kick. Diego Albuquerque's late challenge caught a Henry FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry FC's Zacarias Elivareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Henry FC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hudson Faria made a kick off. Hudson Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Quadros during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Henry FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Quadros. If Hudson Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdo Quadros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lúcio Fantini. That made the score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. Hudson Faria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lúcio Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Hudson Faria slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 85th minute. Henry FC played a much better game than Bernardo and deserved their victory. The Bernardo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
