Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valdemar de Moraes got the match started through his kick off. Renan do Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho do Vale in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dudu Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renan do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Blue's goalkeeper João Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Guimarães. Dé Guimarães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of João Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dé Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. João Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Ramos during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Blue got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Ramos. 23 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Teresina GreenCity's Valdemar de Moraes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Edinho do Vale took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan do Valle. Renan do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Valdemar de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teresina GreenCity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dudu Dias came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Dias couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Teresina GreenCity's zone, Edinho do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renan do Valle came out of the goal and Edinho do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Teresina GreenCity's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Dias came free, but Renan do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dé Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teresina GreenCity's Valdemar de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dé Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teresina GreenCity's protests and gave Dé Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Teresina GreenCity getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dé Guimarães hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dudu Dias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dé Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Valdemar de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dé Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Dé Guimarães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. João Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adriano Ramos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Valdemar de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Valdemar de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dé Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. João Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Blue getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adriano Ramos hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Teresina GreenCity were awarded a corner. Dudu Saldanha went to the cornerflag to take it. Teresina GreenCity's Dudu Saldanha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Soares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dudu Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Augusto Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Teresina GreenCity fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blue had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
