After taking down the ball on Tacuarichim SC's corner Afonso Santana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastião Alves quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Gustavo Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacuarichim SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tacuarichim SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
