Estrema's Sebastião Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Matorin in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Kléberson Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Estrema's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Trigo came free, but Sebastião Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Estrema's Tiago Arósio tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Higienopolis Futebol Club's goalkeeper Walmyr Valle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Acácio Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Trigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Alves having to make a save. Cássio Maia hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Acácio Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cléberson da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Valle having to interfere. If Acácio Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Mello hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Estrema's Sebastião Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Estrema from getting a goal against them. Sebastião Alves was a little too slow when Acácio Trigo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Acácio Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Estrema getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hugo Neiva hit a great ball. Cléberson da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute of the match Tiago Arósio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walmyr Valle skillfully saved the ball. When Estrema's Cléberson da Cunha in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Higienopolis Futebol Club's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernandão Matorin got free with Sebastião Alves in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernandão Matorin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Sebastião Alves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernandão Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Alves having to interfere. If Leandro Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Higienopolis Futebol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
