Spectators: 5350 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmílson Teles kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, rei pirata's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Lira came free, but Luís Eduardo Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Eduardo Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tacuarichim SC's Gustavo Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute José Maria de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes rei pirata's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Afonso Santana who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Tacuarichim SC's José Maria de Almeida getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. rei pirata's Luís Eduardo Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lira in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, rei pirata's Luiz Brito got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 37th minute Gustavo Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, rei pirata's Edmílson Teles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Lira in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Couto saved rei pirata from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Maria de Almeida was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldinho Neves hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If José Maria de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Luís Eduardo Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, José Paulo Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. rei pirata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacuarichim SC the free kick. A collision led to rei pirata getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. José Paulo Massa hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Lira got free with Luís Eduardo Couto in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes, rei pirata's Felippe Rossi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilvan Bertassi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in rei pirata reached it. If Edmílson Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tacuarichim SC booed when rei pirata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias de Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. A well placed José Maria de Almeida short distance shot in the 81st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. rei pirata's Luís Eduardo Couto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save rei pirata from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmílson Teles in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Tacuarichim SC's Osvaldinho Neves got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Edmílson Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. rei pirata's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Luiz Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmílson Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
