Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mário Jacinto kicked off to start the match. Zé Pedro Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Sousa in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Celso Sampaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fluminense FC's Zé Pedro Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Fluminense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Sampaio came free, but Zé Pedro Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Sousa in the 10th minute of play forced Fluminense FC's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Guga Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Fluminense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Pimenta couldn't finish the play. Celso Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Lúcio Fantini managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Fluminense FC's Mário Jacinto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the game, Mário Jacinto lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lúcio Fantini. After 20 played minutes Bernardo got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Paranaense. Zé Pedro Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Sampaio in the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Betão Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fluminense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fluminense FC's Márcio Cruz got a free kick in the 27th minute. Vito Sousa succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Zé Pedro Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Sampaio in the 35th minute of the match. Fluminense FC's Zé Pedro Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sampaio in the 38th minute of play. Márcio Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Fluminense FC got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Cruz. After 40 minutes of play, Bernardo's Celso Sampaio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Pedro Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Vito Sousa made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Fluminense FC defense, Diego Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Pedro Leite. The Fluminense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Pedro Leite should have stopped the shot. Zé Pedro Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Sousa in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Fluminense FC's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Sampaio. The audience was convinced that Mário Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Fantini was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Diego Albuquerque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Pedro Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Ernesto Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Moisés Sampaio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Sousa in the 77th minute of play. Zé Pedro Leite made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Otávio Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Sousa in the 80th minute of play forced Fluminense FC's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Pedro Leite made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Celso Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. When Márcio Cruz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Fluminense FC's Márcio Cruz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Celso Sampaio scored 1-6 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Pedro Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Fluminense FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mário Jacinto hit a great ball. Otávio Paranaense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Pedro Leite. Fluminense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute, Celso Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Pedro Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The Bernardo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
