Luís Eduardo Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Edmílson Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edmílson Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. rei pirata's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan do Valle having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Valdemar de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Edmílson Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Renan do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Teles in the 86th minute of play forced Teresina GreenCity's goalkeeper Renan do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
