Quissama SC's João Vítor Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 17th minute of play. Dé Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. João Vítor Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teresina GreenCity's Valdemar de Moraes in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rodolfo Catarinense hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Dudu Saldanha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Dé Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teresina GreenCity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Arósio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdemar de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valdemar de Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Vítor Teixeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Valdemar de Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute Paulo Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teresina GreenCity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quissama SC the free kick. Leopoldo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Dé Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Teixeira having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Teresina GreenCity got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Monteiro. In the 71st minute, Dito Botelho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Teresina GreenCity's Renan do Valle didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bruninho Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quissama SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruninho Rezende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan do Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruninho Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan do Valle having to interfere. A collision led to Quissama SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nilmar Mineiro hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Quissama SC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar de Moraes came free, but João Vítor Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Quissama SC's Paulo Arósio in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Teresina GreenCity's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Teresina GreenCity's Osvaldo Quirino got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Teresina GreenCity players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quissama SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
