Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Giovani Donatello made the kick off and thus started the match. Eugênio Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Estrema got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Gerber. Sebastião Alves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bruno Brodel. João Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Donatello in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Donatello in the 24th minute of play forced Blue's goalkeeper João Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Donatello came free, but João Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Estrema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Linhares to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Blue's Bruno Brodel tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. João Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléberson Linhares got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 43 played minutes Estrema got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Linhares. Sebastião Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Estrema were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudu Dias made a kick off. A collision led to Blue getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Adriano Ramos hit a great ball. With a little luck, Blue's João Soares got control of the ball when Hugo Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cléberson da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, one of Blue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 69th match minute, Estrema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Dudu Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Estrema defense, Edinho do Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Alves. The Estrema fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Alves should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Cléberson da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Soares. Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cléberson da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 85th minute, Hugo Neiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Estrema walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
