Márcio Cruz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Dé Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dé Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dé Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão Paiva in the 29th minute of play forced Teresina GreenCity's goalkeeper Renan do Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Quirino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teresina GreenCity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fluminense FC the free kick. If Betão Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Dé Guimarães made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Teresina GreenCity's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Paiva came free, but Renan do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mário Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Renan do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Teresina GreenCity's zone, Mário Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 85th minute Dé Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
