SC GALÁCTICOS's Luiz Guilherme Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Pereira in the 3rd minute of play. Magno Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Váldson Batista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Luizão Proença skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Evandro Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC GALÁCTICOS's Luiz Guilherme Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Magno Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Evandro Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magno Costa in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Guilherme Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Costa in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Váldson Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC GALÁCTICOS and the Mohameds Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, SC GALÁCTICOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Magno Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Magno Costa made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Guilherme Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Pereira in the 51st minute. Magno Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Luiz Guilherme Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes SC GALÁCTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Michel Cardoso. Magno Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Guilherme Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magno Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohameds Club's Celso Cruz pulled a muscle in his back after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 61 minutes, Michel Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC GALÁCTICOS and the Mohameds Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohameds Club's Giovanni Seco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luiz Guilherme Moreira but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Pereira got free with Luiz Guilherme Moreira in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Evandro Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mohameds Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Guilherme Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, SC GALÁCTICOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Abreu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Evandro Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mohameds Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC GALÁCTICOS's Giovani Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, SC GALÁCTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Messias came free, but Luiz Guilherme Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Amílton Messias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Guilherme Moreira. That made the score 0-1 in the 90 minute of play. Evandro Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Luiz Guilherme Moreira made a huge save. Gernando Abreu's late challenge caught a Mohameds Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernando Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Evandro Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mohameds Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Guilherme Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Mohameds Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC GALÁCTICOS.
