The audience was convinced that Victor Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Sanches was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Jurumirim SC booed when Águia Azul Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Águia Azul Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jurumirim SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
