Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Váldson Batista started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luiz Guilherme Moreira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilton Mangueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Renan Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aírton Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Fred Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Assaizal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Salgado couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Aírton Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Assaizal's supporters rose to their feet, but Aírton Breckenfeld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Guilherme Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aírton Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Cardoso in the 23rd minute of play forced Assaizal's goalkeeper Renan Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Salgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Guilherme Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Aírton Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Assaizal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aírton Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renan Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes, Danilo Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Assaizal and the SC GALÁCTICOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Danilo Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Murillo Rocha missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Renan Tepedino right hand side. Assaizal's Renan Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson Batista in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Salgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Guilherme Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aírton Breckenfeld went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to SC GALÁCTICOS getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gernando Abreu hit a great ball. When Assaizal's Fred Salgado in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC GALÁCTICOS's goalie prevented a goal. Wilton Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chico Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chico Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. SC GALÁCTICOS's Luiz Guilherme Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Mangueira in the 70th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Renan Tepedino made a huge save. Renan Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Wilton Mangueira notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SC GALÁCTICOS's Luiz Guilherme Moreira. Luiz Guilherme Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, Assaizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Reginaldo Peres in the 90th minute really tested Renan Tepedino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Assaizal's Renan Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Assaizal from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Assaizal fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC GALÁCTICOS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
