The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Carvalho got free with Renan Tepedino in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Assaizal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BOTAFOGO SAF 2022:s goal. After 23 played minutes Assaizal got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Mangueira. Eusébio Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Tepedino having to interfere. When Fred Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Assaizal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Salgado couldn't finish the play.
