Spectators: 6867 (Terracing: 5070, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 130) Ricardo Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Pires in the 7th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Murillo Botelho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Freitas got free with Murillo Botelho in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jorge Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murillo Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vides in the 19th minute of the match. Jorge Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Pitta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Massa's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ricardo Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Perez in the 29th minute of play. Jorge Vides had several of the E.C Rosa shopp's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Murillo Botelho as he didn't even see the shot coming.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Pires was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jorge Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC. Leader's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, E.C Rosa shopp's Fabiano Pires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Pitta. Ricardo Pitta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 64 minutes into the game, Nico Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C Rosa shopp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC. Leader the free kick. Nico Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. E.C Rosa shopp's Fabiano Pires was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. FC. Leader's Maicon Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Pitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabiano Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, E.C Rosa shopp's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Freitas came free, but Murillo Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When E.C Rosa shopp's Fabiano Pires in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC. Leader's goalie prevented a goal. If Sidney Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC. Leader's Ricardo Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save FC. Leader from getting a goal against them. The E.C Rosa shopp supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing E.C Rosa shopp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
