Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bruno Zanette made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Sport Club's Denílson Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Umberto Batista. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After 20 played minutes Real Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Braga. Sarzedo's Bruno Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Mazza having to interfere. Olívio Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Batista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson Vale's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Alexsandro Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real Sport Club's zone, Olívio Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Mazza came out of the goal and Olívio Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Sarzedo were awarded a corner. Glauco Pombal went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Sarzedo's Gilberto Gonçalves got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Real Sport Club's Luiz Fernando Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Paraíba in the 44th minute of play. Clóvis de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denílson Vale made a kick off. Bruno Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Sarzedo got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Pombal. Umberto Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis de Sousa in the 58th minute of the match. Olívio Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Mazza having to interfere. Denílson Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denílson Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Umberto Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Bruno Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Real Sport Club's Denílson Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarzedo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Sport Club.
