Tales Marquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Abraão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adriano Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Cruz in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Toledo in the 22nd minute of play forced Muricizal EC's goalkeeper Adriano Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Itatira SC's Edvaldo Cruz in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Muricizal EC's zone, Benjamin Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Linhares came out of the goal and Benjamin Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvaldo Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Adriano Linhares made a huge save. Eduardo Sabóia hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Muricizal EC's Marcus Mota was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodrigo Abraão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 88thth minute of the game Benjamin Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muricizal EC's Adriano Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Benjamin Toledo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Benjamin Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
