Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Araça F.C.'s goalkeeper Antônio Mineiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute Doni Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Jacareipe's Doni Perez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Araça F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Seco to maneuver through the defense. Jacareipe's Dorian Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Doni Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Antônio Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Luan Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Antônio Mineiro made a huge save. Luan Rosa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Antônio Mineiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacareipe. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doni Perez in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 played minutes Araça F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Mangueira. 33 minutes in the game, Luan Rosa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Antônio Mineiro having to interfere. Araça F.C.'s Antônio Mineiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Araça F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Araça F.C. booed when Jacareipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fernando Ceresso came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Araça F.C.'s Edson Passos. But to his dismay, Edson Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edson Passos to make the kick off. When Edgar Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacareipe's protests and gave Edgar Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Edgar Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Jacareipe's Doni Perez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Mineiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jacareipe's Luiz Fernando Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Jacareipe from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Jacareipe getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Luiz Saldanha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Passos in the 68th minute of play forced Jacareipe's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luan Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Rosa in the 74th minute of the match. If Edson Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Araça F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Mangueira. In the 81st minute of the match Dorian Salgado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Mineiro skillfully saved the ball. After 86 played minutes Jacareipe got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Arantes. In the 87th match minute, Jacareipe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Seco hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
