Boyd Heathwood was a little too slow when Umberto Tepedino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luís Fernando de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Alcântara having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betão Donato during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Betão Donato hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Luiz Paulo Vale came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Baixio SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Vale couldn't finish the play. Luís Fernando de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Alcântara having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cauã Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fernando de Sena went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Cauã Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fernando de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Adilson Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adilson Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Baixio SC booed when Fyde-FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Luiz Paulo Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baixio SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umberto Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cauã Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Délio Pitta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baixio SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fyde-FC the free kick. If Umberto Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyd Heathwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Fyde-FC were awarded a corner. Cacá Salgado went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Fyde-FC's corner Cacá Salgado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boyd Heathwood quite easily take care of the ball. Baixio SC's Boyd Heathwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Tepedino in the 70th minute of play. When Baixio SC's Luiz Paulo Vale in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fyde-FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cauã Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Luís Fernando de Sena sent off a good shot on target. Baixio SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Umberto Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Heathwood having to interfere. Cafu Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Heathwood having to interfere. If Umberto Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Luiz Paulo Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauã Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Fyde-FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Baixio SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Baixio SC.
