The crowd rose to their feet as Felippe Baptista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Umberto Lago. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Dracena AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dedos Mágicos FC booed when Dracena AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umberto Lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beto Zonta went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Dracena AD's zone, Beto Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umberto Lago came out of the goal and Beto Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vitório Lara came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Dracena AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitório Lara couldn't finish the play. Alfredão Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Lara in the 45th minute of play forced Dedos Mágicos FC's goalkeeper Albertinho Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfredão Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitório Lara made a kick off. Beto Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredão Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Dedos Mágicos FC's goalkeeper Albertinho Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dedé de Andrade. If Beto Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dracena AD's Noel Pirani got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dedos Mágicos FC's Beto Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Dedos Mágicos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Messias to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Rui Cardoso notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Dedos Mágicos FC's Albertinho Branco. Albertinho Branco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albertinho Branco was a little too slow when Carlos Fernando de Azevedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 4-2. Dracena AD's Umberto Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Baptista in the 76th minute of play. Fábio do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Lago having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Zonta in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felippe Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Umberto Lago having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Dracena AD's zone, Felippe Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umberto Lago came out of the goal and Felippe Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Vitório Lara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albertinho Branco, 4-3. Umberto Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio do Valle in the 93rd minute of the match. When Beto Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Dedos Mágicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Zonta couldn't finish the play.
