Duarte de Barros started the match with the kick off. Dino Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Paulão Donatello struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Dino Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uma do Piratas. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Duarte de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uma do Piratas's supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fábio Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Hílton Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Juarês Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Duarte de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Curipi SS's Dino Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte de Barros in the 21st minute of play. Dino Bastos came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Uma do Piratas's Paulão Donatello. But to his dismay, Paulão Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Cleiton Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Fábio Quadros hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Claudinei Sousa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Juarês Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curipi SS. Juarês Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleiton Bastos in the 40th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hílton Almeida to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton Bastos in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Duarte de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulão Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Bastos having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Hílton Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uma do Piratas's Juarês Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cleiton Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Juarês Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Bastos in the 81st minute of play. Hílton Almeida struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Juarês Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curipi SS. Juarês Guimarães came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Curipi SS's Cleiton Bastos. But to his dismay, Cleiton Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cleiton Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uma do Piratas's Juarês Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Almeida in the 89th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Uma do Piratas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
