José Vítor Sampaio's late challenge caught a Feirinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Coutinho in the 41st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Feirinha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Acarape. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Araújo to make the kick off. Cássio Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Teixeira in the 55th minute of play. Acarape's Erasmo Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Acácio Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Barbosa having to interfere. Erasmo Araújo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gonçalo Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Erasmo Araújo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Acarape getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Víktor Andrade hit a great ball. The Feirinha fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Feirinha's Paulo Teixeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Paulo Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Feirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Teixeira couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Acarape could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Feirinha throughout the match.
