Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Iratinga AD's Frank Luz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Feirinha defense, Délio Gaúcho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonçalo Barbosa. The Feirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo Barbosa should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Délio Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iratinga AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Délio Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Délio Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gonçalo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Miguel Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Luiz Fernando Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iratinga AD and the Feirinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Roberto Linhares, was totally fooled by Feirinha's Bernardo Donatello, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gonçalo Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Délio Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Frank Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo Barbosa was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The supporters of Iratinga AD booed when Feirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Moreno to make the kick off. At last the ball reached Váldson Nóbrega at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Iratinga AD. 3-2. Frank Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonçalo Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Arruda in the 60th minute of the match. Délio Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gonçalo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Feirinha's Doni Melo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Délio Gaúcho could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Gonçalo Barbosa however easily saved by the left post. Délio Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Barbosa having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Feirinha's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Délio Gaúcho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gonçalo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Luz in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Luz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gonçalo Barbosa. That made the score 3-3 in the 87 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Feirinha's zone, Frank Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo Barbosa came out of the goal and Frank Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonçalo Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Délio Gaúcho in the 94th minute. Délio Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo Barbosa having to make a save. Iratinga AD were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
