Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erasmo Araújo got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Frigini Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Araújo came free, but Alessandro Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Acarape's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Ramalho came free, but Cássio Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Décio Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Enio Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acarape's protests and gave Enio Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Acarape fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! When Frigini Futebol Clube's Arí Ramalho in 16 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cássio Bittencourt guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frigini Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alessandro Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alessandro Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Araújo in the 20th minute of the match. Arí Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cássio Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Acarape's zone, Arí Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Bittencourt came out of the goal and Arí Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Arí Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frigini Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arí Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Frigini Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alessandro Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Coutinho. When Acácio Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Acarape fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acácio Coutinho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Araújo in the 40th minute of play forced Frigini Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Alessandro Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Acarape's Erasmo Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arí Ramalho made a kick off. Frigini Futebol Clube's Diego Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Cássio Bittencourt made a huge save. 56 minutes in the game, Erasmo Araújo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Arí Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Cássio Bittencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frigini Futebol Clube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Ramalho in the 64th minute of play forced Acarape's goalkeeper Cássio Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Bittencourt made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Diego Antunes sent off a good shot on target. Alessandro Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Araújo in the 72nd minute of the match. Acácio Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessandro Esteves having to make a save. If Erasmo Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Acarape's Acácio Coutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Teixeira during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Frigini Futebol Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
