Freixal's Alberto de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Teixeira in the 10th minute of play. Alberto de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Elder Palmeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Esteves was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Alessandro Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Palmeira in the 14th minute of the match. Cássio Cavalcante hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Percival Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cássio Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Freixal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elder Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Antunes in the 40th minute of play forced Freixal's goalkeeper Alberto de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessandro Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elder Palmeira in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match, Percival Pimenta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alessandro Esteves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arí Ramalho took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto de Lima. Alessandro Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elder Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Freixal players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
