The Batista SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliézer Barros should have stopped the shot. Délio Gaúcho scored 3-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliézer Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute of the match Tião Valle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Linhares skillfully saved the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Glauco Dante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Linhares. Iratinga AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glauco Dante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Délio Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Barros having to interfere. Délio Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eliézer Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batista SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iratinga AD the free kick. Ulisses Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Frank Luz scored 7-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliézer Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
