Thomás Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Barral during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Humberto Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Terra was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. If João Francisco Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Betinho Romero shot from long distance in the 58th minute, but Hamílton Luz was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Flavinho Brodel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Betinho Romero, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 70th minute Humberto Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arí Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Teodoro Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Terra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arí Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. Catetumbes F.C.'s Hamílton Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Catetumbes F.C. from getting a goal against them. Arí Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plataforma Futebol Clube's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
