The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eurico Arósio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Profeta EC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Vitório Terra hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelsinho Bertassi got free with Oséas Paraíba in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto França in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Baltazar Viana took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Oséas Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. In the 35th minute, Alberto França made a precise shot to the right of Franklin Alves. Bulhufas F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto França in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Profeta EC's Décio Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Profeta EC's Alberto França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Décio Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Franklin Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Baltazar Viana made the kick off in the second half. Baltazar Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Franklin Alves didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Franklin Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto França, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Décio Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Alves having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Profeta EC's Franklin Alves threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto França, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. William Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Franklin Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto França's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Décio Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
