The supporters of Rolante booed when Metolokos MZ Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's Edu Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adhemar Sampaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Paulo Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Sampaio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edu Freitas got free with Adhemar Sampaio in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adhemar Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Furlan in the 10th minute of the match. If Genílson Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genílson Santana struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alan Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolante. David Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Metolokos MZ Clube's goalkeeper Alan Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genílson Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Almeida having to interfere. Elder Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elder Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elder Catarinense hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that David Loyola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan Almeida was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Santana in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, João Paulo Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genílson Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40th play minutes David Loyola shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Alan Almeida and just under the crossbar into goal. David Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Metolokos MZ Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rolante were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Paulo Furlan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Rolante's Genílson Santana made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Santana in the 61st minute of play forced Metolokos MZ Clube's goalkeeper Alan Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Rolante got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Furtado. Metolokos MZ Clube's Juan Prestes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rolante. Adhemar Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Furlan in the 72nd minute of the match. Edu Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Adhemar Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Furlan in the 76th minute of play forced Rolante's goalkeeper Adhemar Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adhemar Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Paulo Furlan went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. If João Paulo Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Genílson Santana came free, but Alan Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Rolante's Genílson Santana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. The Metolokos MZ Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rolante's performance. The match ended with a win for Rolante.
