Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Paulo Furlan kicked off to start the match. RUNA FC's Washington Seco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elder Catarinense, made in the 3rd minute of the game. João Paulo Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Paulo Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, João Paulo Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, RUNA FC's Washington Seco got a free kick in the 18th minute. Váldson de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, RUNA FC's Váldson de Godoi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erasmo Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Edu Freitas sent off a good shot on target. Váldson de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of RUNA FC booed when Metolokos MZ Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Edu Freitas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metolokos MZ Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The Metolokos MZ Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RUNA FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Váldson de Godoi to make the kick off. João Paulo Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Metolokos MZ Clube from getting a goal against them. If Váldson de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Edu Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Magalhães. RUNA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. With a little luck, Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida got control of the ball when Váldson de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. RUNA FC's Erasmo Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Furlan in the 71st minute of play. If Váldson de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Metolokos MZ Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Martins to maneuver through the defense. Váldson de Godois short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Alan Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Alan Almeida managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when RUNA FC's Váldson de Godoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 95 minutes, Ulysses Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metolokos MZ Clube and the RUNA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulysses Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
