Gino Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria de Salles having to interfere. Filipe Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Esmires Futebol booed when Suspiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria de Salles was a little too slow when Gino Vides got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suspiro's goalkeeper José Maria de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Furlan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Gino Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Vides was the one to do the kick off. José Maria de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedê Araújo in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Dedê Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Gino Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Dedê Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esmires Futebol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Esmires Futebol were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
