Osvaldo Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dalmo Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Amaral in the 11th minute of play. Bruno Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Meirelles scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alessandro Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Pocoyo FC's Samuca Rezende ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renan Romero. Renan Romero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Samuca Rezendes short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Renan Romero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bruno Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Beto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Pocoyo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Amaral came free, but Dalmo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Tupaoca FC's Bruno Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmo Leal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Renan Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Amaral was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Tupaoca FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Veloso hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Meirelles got free with Dalmo Leal in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tales Carvalho hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dalmo Leal made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Osvaldo Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Amaral in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Leal saved Pocoyo FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Rezende in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 69 minutes, Samuca Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocoyo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tales Brasil hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Dalmo Leal made a huge save. Beto Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Romero having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Tupaoca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Rezende came free, but Renan Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Alessandro Oliveira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Tupaoca FC's Renan Romero. Renan Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrianinho Abreu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Osvaldo Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tupaoca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Rezende in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
