Pocoyo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KANDANGUS F.C the free kick. The supporters of KANDANGUS F.C booed when Pocoyo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrianinho Abreu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Samuca Rezende put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adalberto Loureiro. 18 minutes into the game, Pocoyo FC's Beto Quirino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adalberto Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Beto Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KANDANGUS F.C's Adalberto Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save KANDANGUS F.C from getting a goal against them. When Fabrício Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the KANDANGUS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrício Andrade couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, Pocoyo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Rezende in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalberto Loureiro saved KANDANGUS F.C from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Rezende in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalberto Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tales Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocoyo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmo Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KANDANGUS F.C's Adalberto Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Quirino in the 43rd minute of play. Samuca Rezende's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Adalberto Loureiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tales Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Adalberto Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocoyo FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuca Rezende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Beto Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Samuca Rezende sped through KANDANGUS F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adalberto Loureiro. A collision led to KANDANGUS F.C getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alan Gonçalves hit a great ball. Samuca Rezende struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Adalberto Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocoyo FC. Adalberto Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Rezende in the 66th minute of the match. When Dário Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KANDANGUS F.C's protests and gave Dário Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. Alessandro Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Loureiro having to interfere. Dalmo Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Andrade in the 77th minute. In the 80th match minute, KANDANGUS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Samuca Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beto Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adalberto Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Samuca Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Beto Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Loureiro having to interfere. If Samuca Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in KANDANGUS F.C's zone, Beto Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Loureiro came out of the goal and Beto Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuca Rezende took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalberto Loureiro. Adalberto Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pocoyo FC had played much better football throughout.
