José Maria de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho do Nascimento in the 11th minute of the match. Adalberto Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria de Salles having to interfere. Adalberto Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Lima in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Ronaldinho do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KANDANGUS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Fabrício Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. José Maria de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in KANDANGUS F.C's zone, Ulysses Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Loureiro came out of the goal and Ulysses Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nando Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, KANDANGUS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Adalberto Loureiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Suspiro's zone, Fabrício Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Maria de Salles came out of the goal and Fabrício Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eliseu Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suspiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseu Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nando Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adalberto Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Eliseu Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adalberto Loureiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Suspiro's Eliseu Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
