But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Oliveira couldn't finish the play. If Dedê Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Hílton Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocoyo FC and the Esmires Futebol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Pocoyo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gilmar Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedê Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Rezende in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Teixeira saved Esmires Futebol from getting behind. Gilmar Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dário Paraibano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Alessandro Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Roger Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. Dedê Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Dalmo Leal made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Pocoyo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Vides came free, but Dalmo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
