When Beto Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pocoyo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Quirino couldn't finish the play. Beto Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Agnaldo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Botelho in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Iparanga booed when Pocoyo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Leal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Botelho went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Rezende in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agnaldo Machado saved Iparanga from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Pocoyo FC's Samuca Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agnaldo Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuca Rezende made a kick off. Agnaldo Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuca Rezende went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Samuca Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocoyo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Rezende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pocoyo FC booed when Iparanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beto Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Alessandro Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocoyo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
