In the 3rd minute, GrimDeath's Fabrício Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Gualter Cearense was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Doni Alves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Doni Alves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Fabrício Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualter Cearense having to make a save. Fabrício Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué Valle's late challenge caught a KANGAL FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josué Valle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, GrimDeath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Valle to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Mathias Bueno in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jaime Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Travassos in the 28th minute of the match. If Leandro Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, GrimDeath's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Travassos came free, but Jaime Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Serafim Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualter Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Valle in the 40th minute of play. Fabrício Maia struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Gualter Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GrimDeath. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrício Maia made a kick off. Gualter Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Durval Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fabrício Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Doni Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GrimDeath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Leandro Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Victor do Nascimento had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. During the 72nd minute of the match Josué Valle completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Josué Valle a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Josué Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mathias Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gualter Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Doni Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. GrimDeath's supporters rose to their feet, but Doni Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mathias Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GrimDeath were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KANGAL FC for a fine match.
