Jaime Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Mota in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mavericks FC's Iwo Zawadzki got control of the ball when Doni Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiago Gabriel Mota scored 1-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Celsinho de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Quirino having to interfere. If Doni Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
