Jefferson Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Magno Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Arthur Saldanha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magno Vianna was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Jefferson Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arthur Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes in the game, Arthur Saldanha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Magno Vianna having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, INVICTUS FC's goalkeeper Magno Vianna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Bueno. In the 81stth minute of the game Geovani Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacaulandia FC's Frédson Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cauã Prata fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacaulandia FC's protests and gave Cauã Prata a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of INVICTUS FC booed when Cacaulandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Matorin in the 87th minute of play forced Cacaulandia FC's goalkeeper Frédson Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, INVICTUS FC's Belmiro Alves made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frédson Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cacaulandia FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
