An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Terra in the 6th minute of play forced Flamengo Castilla's goalkeeper Wilian Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jacinto de Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilian Sena was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes Paulo José Loyola rounded Canutama's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 14 played minutes Flamengo Castilla got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Teixeira. When Canutama's Jacinto de Queiroz in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cássio Costa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Walmir Monteiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Remo França. During the 32nd minute of the match Cássio Costa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cássio Costa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 34th minute, Remo França fired a really elegant long shot, but Walmir Monteiro threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Terra in the 43rd minute of play forced Flamengo Castilla's goalkeeper Wilian Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Waldemar Terra made the kick off in the second half. Canutama's Walmir Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Loyola in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Flamengo Castilla's Paulo José Loyola made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walmir Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo José Velasco hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Paulo José Loyola's late challenge caught a Canutama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo José Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Canutama booed when Flamengo Castilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Waldemar Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Flamengo Castilla's Wilian Sena got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Vasconcelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walmir Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Waldemar Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldemar Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Canutama's Waldemar Terra got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Ademar Varela came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Flamengo Castilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Varela couldn't finish the play. Paulo José Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Walmir Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Monteiro having to interfere. Flamengo Castilla's Ademar Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto de Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Flamengo Castilla getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Vinícius Trancoso hit a great ball. If Waldemar Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flamengo Castilla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Canutama for a fine match.
