An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Cerezo in the 4th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Pirani hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santoryu FC's zone, Lucas Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Messias came out of the goal and Lucas Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pajaro CF's Luís Fábio Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pajaro CF's Lucas Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá de Medeiros in the 24th minute of play forced Pajaro CF's goalkeeper João Francisco Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Pirani hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Pajaro CF were awarded a corner. Váldson Lopes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Váldson Lopes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Vítor Messias quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 29 minutes into the game, Dé Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santoryu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pajaro CF the free kick. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dé Furlan hit a great ball. Adriano Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Vítor Messias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. João Vítor Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Barros in the 32nd minute of play. Régis Negri hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Carlos Fernando Pirani's late challenge caught a Pajaro CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Fernando Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Santoryu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Pirani to maneuver through the defense. João Vítor Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Valladares in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Cerezo came free, but João Vítor Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléberson Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Messias having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fábio Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Santoryu FC's João Vítor Messias got control of the ball when Adriano Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adriano Tavares sped through Santoryu FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Vítor Messias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Sena in the 57th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Furlan in the 59th minute of play forced Pajaro CF's goalkeeper João Francisco Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Sena lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Emílio Sena hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Lucas Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Messias. Santoryu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, Santoryu FC's João Vítor Messias got control of the ball when Samuel Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Vítor Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Samuel Valladares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. João Vítor Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lucas Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Adelino Lopes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 88th minute, Santoryu FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucas Barros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 90 minutes, Orlando Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pajaro CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Pajaro CF's Orlando Loyola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Vítor Messias. João Vítor Messias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Pajaro CF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
