Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elivélton Mattos made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Heavy Metal's Allan Barreto got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jefferson Sá in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráusio Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jefferson Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráusio Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Braga FC's Claudinho de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Vasconcelos in the 15th minute of play. Jefferson Sá was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Braga FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 18th minute Jonathan da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jefferson Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jefferson Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Toledo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Sá in the 45th minute of play forced Heavy Metal's goalkeeper Dráusio Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Sá to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Braga FC's Jefferson Sá made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Braga FC booed when Heavy Metal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Heavy Metal's Jonathan da Costa got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Jonathan da Costa off the ground. Jefferson Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Toledo having to interfere. Jefferson Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jefferson Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. Jefferson Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dráusio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Heavy Metal getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Allan Barreto hit a great ball. Jefferson Sá struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Dráusio Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga FC. In the 89th minute, Elivélton Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jefferson Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Braga FC fully deserved thier win.
