Severino Ceresso was a little too slow when Cacá de Medeiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Benedito da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Régis Negri hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Marcos Guedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. João Vítor Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Spaboys 4EVER's goalkeeper Severino Ceresso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naldo Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito da Rocha in the 27th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper João Vítor Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Costas short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Severino Ceresso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute, Benedito da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spaboys 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Santoryu FC's Cacá de Medeiros in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spaboys 4EVER's goalie prevented a goal. Naldo Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severino Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Naldo Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Severino Ceresso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Spaboys 4EVER's Severino Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá de Medeiros in the 51st minute of play. Cacá de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Severino Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santoryu FC's zone, Percy Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Messias came out of the goal and Percy Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ramiro Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santoryu FC's protests and gave Ramiro Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Prestes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Santoryu FC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Spaboys 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Maria Esteves took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Dé Furlan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. João Vítor Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito da Rocha in the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Régis Negri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Ceresso skillfully saved the ball. Percy Mazza hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Cacá de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cacá de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Ceresso having to interfere. Naldo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Severino Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Santoryu FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Spaboys 4EVER's performance. The match ended with a win for Spaboys 4EVER.
