Adriano Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Claudinho de Carvalho made a huge save. João Vítor Silva hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Braga FC's goalkeeper Claudinho de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Tavares. 11 minutes into the match, Orlando Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho de Carvalho. Braga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 16th minute of the game Váldson Lopes made a throw-in which Orlando Loyola played forward. Jefferson Sá took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Francisco Machado. João Francisco Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 21st minute, Luís Fábio Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Luís Fábio Cerezo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinho de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Fábio Cerezo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes of play, Braga FC's Jefferson Sá made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Francisco Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th match minute, Braga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Silva to maneuver through the defense. Claudinho de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Valladares in the 39th minute of play. João Francisco Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jefferson Sá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Vítor Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Samuel Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 63rd minute, Luís Fábio Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinho de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. In the 88th minute, Luís Fábio Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Claudinho de Carvalho. Braga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Claudinho de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Pajaro CF's Orlando Loyola. But to his dismay, Orlando Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. Pajaro CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
