Claudinei Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Martins in the 21st minute of the match. Vitório de Azevedo's late challenge caught a Holandés Volador F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitório de Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Vitório de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Holandés Volador F.C's corner Glauco Amaral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudinei Ferraz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Leopoldo Martins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudinei Ferraz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Holandés Volador F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Melo came free, but Fellipe Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Trevisan in the 83rd minute of play forced Holandés Volador F.C's goalkeeper Fellipe Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Rifaina's Antônio de Almeida made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the referee ended the match the Rifaina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
