Francisco Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Marcel Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Welter Futebol Clube's Francisco Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Adalberto Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Welter Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curiau the free kick. Adalberto Montenegro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Pedro Augusto Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Magalhães having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Welter Futebol Clube's zone, Marcel Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Magalhães came out of the goal and Marcel Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes of play, Curiau's Marcel Pires made it 3-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Curiau supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Welter Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Welter Futebol Clube.
