Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Trancoso started the match with the kick off. If Thiago Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivape's Enio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Trancoso in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Adelino Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tricolor dos Pampas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ivape the free kick. Adelino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Thiago Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Jacinto Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enio Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jacinto Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enio Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Almeida in the 34th minute of play. Jacinto Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thiago Valle made a kick off. Enio Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Diguinho da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ivape's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tricolor dos Pampas FC the free kick. A collision led to Ivape getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Diguinho da Costa hit a great ball. A hard shot by Lauro Castro from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Enio Toledo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ivape's Délio Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Ivape got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Félix. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jacinto Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tricolor dos Pampas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ivape booed when Tricolor dos Pampas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Ivape's goalkeeper Enio Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Almeida. Jacinto Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Enio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adelino Almeida took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enio Toledo. Enio Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dito Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Tasso in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Thiago Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, Ivape's Thiago Valle made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dito Vergílio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tricolor dos Pampas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
